CCD/Youth Ministry:

• CCD classes are held on Sundays,from 9:15 am to 10:45 am in St. Mary’s Grade School. Registration forms are available on our website, as well as in the church.  CCD serves as the religion class for children in grades Pre-K through 6th who attend public school.
• The First Reconciliation Class for the Sacrament of Penance will be held Tuesday, November 12 from 6-7:15 pm in Notre Dame High School. Lesson: God Sent Jesus to Save Us.  Classes are held every Tuesday.  For additional information, please contact Sr. Maria, SJI at 304-622-8243.
• Youth Group – The IC Youth Group will “kick off” on Sunday, November 10^th from 5-7 pm in the Parish Center. The parish youth group’s goal is to deepen and develop the faith life of the parish youth while having fun and serving the community. All parish youth, grades 7-12, are welcome to attend. Youth Group is MANDATORY for those who are to be confirmed next year (current 8^th and 9^th graders). Food will be provided. OCIA (formerly RCIA)
Adult Education (OCIA) If you are interested in converting to Catholicism or if you were baptized Catholic and are interested in learning more about your faith, we offer OCIA (The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) classes. A registration form can be found online. For more information, call the parish office @ 304.622.8243 and leave your name and number. Father Casey will return your call. OCIA will meet Thursday, November 14 at 7 pm. The topic is The Blessed Trinity.

Parish Nurse Ministry:

• We want to thank everyone who donated blood during our Blood Drive. Thanks to your generosity, 61 people in the Harrison, Marion and Monongalia County areas will benefit from your donations.
• We also want to thank all who attended the Health Fair and participated in our basket raffle fundraiser. This was our biggest Fair yet and it was very successful. The basket raffle was also successful, and those funds will help with future programs. A parishioner from Sacred Heart Parish in Salem won the raffle. We will be taking December of but then will start planning programs for 2025. Watch the bulletin for information. Thank you all for your support. Special thanks to Father Casey, Sister Maria, Sister Beritha, Victoria, Mary and Joyce for all the support you give us. We couldn’t do it without you. Also thank to Monsignor Paul and our missionaries who attended the Fair and helped with translation which allowed us to offer the screenings, etc. to our Hispanic parishioners.
• The next meeting of the Parish Nurse Ministry is November 11 at 6 pm.  Anyone in the healthcare field is welcome to attend.
